Narcotics Drugs Prosecution Division
The Property and Judgment Enforcement Division (PJED), under the Department of Justice primarily enforces
court judgments to give effect to judicial decrees in civil and criminal matters. It is established to address growing
enforcement needs, PJED ensures timely restitution, compensation, and property recovery while collaborating with
stakeholders like the Royal Bhutan Police, National Land Commission, and other agencies.
Tracking and analyzing over 41,000 registered criminal cases to build safer communities, ensure transparent justice, and streamline legal documentation.
Successfully resolving over 8,000 criminal cases through diligent investigation, modern forensic technology, and law enforcement collaboration.
Managing an active docket of 42.4k pending cases with secure, centralized record-keeping to accelerate legal processing.
